“Amanece de Javiera Gómez y Valentina Díaz es una muestra que explora el linde entre el día y la noche, fenómeno comúnmente asociado al dramatismo del ocaso, símbolo de los finales, pero que en este caso asume su contracara: la versión igualmente transitiva de la luz y la sombra que señala los comienzos y el origen secuencial de todas las cosas. A su vez, es una exposición que pone en evidencia otra frontera crucial para toda creación artística, el diálogo entre la materia plástica y el motivo que representa (...).
Las piezas que conforman la muestra evocan una dimensión ceremonial y contemplativa difícil de clasificar o racionalizar, vinculada eminentemente al acto creativo que las trae a la vida: no es la manifestación mítica que irradia la fe de un credo, sino algo más íntimo y transparente, el tiempo vital esculpido sobre la forma que toman los objetos, las imágenes moldeadas por el instinto y la fijación de dos artistas y su sentido de revelación, a través del acto de hacer presente lo que permanecía suspendido en algún lugar del subconsciente o de gravitaciones aún más desconocidas”.

“Daybreak by Javiera Gómez and Valentina Díaz is an exhibition that explores the boundary between day and night, a phenomenon commonly associated with the drama of sunset—a symbol of endings—but which, in this case, takes on its opposite: the equally transient interplay of light and shadow that signifies beginnings and the sequential origin of all things. At the same time, it is an exhibition that highlights another crucial boundary for all artistic creation: the dialogue between the plastic material and the motif it represents (...).
The pieces that make up the exhibition evoke a ceremonial and contemplative dimension that is difficult to classify or rationalize, linked eminently to the creative act that brings them to life: it is not the mythical manifestation that radiates the faith of a creed, but something more intimate and transparent—the vital time sculpted into the form taken by the objects, the images shaped by the instinct and fixation of two artists and their sense of revelation, through the act of bringing to the present what remained suspended somewhere in the subconscious or in even more unknown realms.”
